We knew that Paragoomba's Star Mission "Crack a long hit!" wasn't what it appeared to be. By examining the Japanese version of the game, I discovered what it ACTUALLY was... and even what went wrong.
[Spoilers: it's "Cross home plate!" and it was mislabeled during the localization of the game.]
This makes making Paragoomba a Superstar both easier and less frustrating! Hooray!
PS: THE JAPANESE IS RONGU HITTO, NOT LONGU HITTO, I AM AWARE THAT JAPANESE DOES NOT HAVE A NATIVE VOICED ALVEOLAR LATERAL APPROXIMANT CONSONANT :) :) :) :)
