In this video, I construct a replica of the iron mask from the 1989 movie "The Man in The Iron Mask" starring Leonardo DiCaprio. The outer frame is composed of steel strips about 3/16" thick, with the inner panels formed out of 18 gauge sheet steel. The heavily distressed look is achieved with hammer texting and grinder work. The "raw from the forge" finish completes this rustic effect.
