In this video, I forge a rudimentary, stylized crucifix. I feel this project lends itself well to a novice smith with some practical experience, in that, it has a pretty clear step by step" recipe" with none of the steps requiring "tons" of skill to achieve an acceptable shape. The detail on the Christ figure was left sparse, merely suggestive of anatomical markers. One could certainly spend more time, adding extra details if they were so inclined. This approach could also be adapted and applied to other human type figures.
