In this LuxFit Foam Roller review we share our experience using the LuxFit foam roller and compare it to a softer Gold's Gym Foam roller we've had for a long time.
We also show you how to foam roll by demonstrating some of the ways we use our foam rollers.
I got our Gold's Gym foam roller many years ago as a birthday present from my wife and kids. I liked it but didn't have a lot of experience using it. Later I got involved in CrossFit and learned all kinds of different foam roller exercises.
That original foam roller was great for a good while, but it softened up over time. My wife found the LuxFit high density foam roller and liked it a lot better than the Gold's Gym foam roller, because of how firm it is. Now that I've tried it, I see I can get much deeper into my muscles with this LuxFit foam roller.
When it comes to what others are saying about the LuxFit foam roller, it's very highly rated. Ironically, the fact that it's very dense is what people like and don't like about it. Most people experienced with foam rolling, appreciate that it's very firm and that they can get into their bodies with it. It's a small number of people that gave low ratings to the LuxFit foam roller, but the low ratings were primarily about people thinking it was too hard.
Whether or not this is the best foam roller, is for you to decide, but as far as I'm concerned it's great. I think a firm foam roller is a great option for anyone that's going to be into fitness for a long time.
