In this Sleep on Latex pillow review, we unbox our new pillows and share our experience after sleeping on them.
These natural latex pillows are made from shredded latex foam and have an organic cotton cover.
Each pillow comes with extra shredded foam in case you want to make your pillow thicker. You can also take some of the latex out if it's too thick for you.
My wife liked her pillow how it came, but I ended up taking some of the shredded latex foam out of mine, and I like it a lot.
We chose these Sleep On Latex pillows because we wanted pillows that had no VOC emissions. VOCs are volatile organic compounds and can have negative effects on health.
When it comes to bedding, almost all mattresses and pillows emit some kind of VOC. One of the main forms these VOCs come in is flame retardant. The nice thing about natural latex is that it's naturally flame resistant, so it doesn't have to have flame retardant applied.
I've been looking for a good-value organic bed for a long time, and after searching for a pretty long time, we finally decided on the Pure Green organic latex mattress by Sleep On Latex. Knowing their mattresses were a good value, we figured it was worth giving their latex pillows a try too.
The bottom line is that I can't say this is the best latex pillow available because it's the only one I've ever had. That being said, it is a great pillow, and best of all, it won't have negative effects on a person's health.
