In this Genesis Designs 6-Inch Table-Top/Clip-On Fan Review and Demonstration, we test this fan out for a couple of months before giving you our honest opinion about it. We also do this Genesis fan unboxing so you see exactly what comes with it.
We got this fan for my daughter to help cool things down at night so she could sleep better. When we were searching for fans, this one stood out for two main reasons: First, it had 4.6 stars on Amazon with more than 14,000 ratings. In addition, it's a corded fan, and we knew we didn't want to have a battery-operated fan.
After 2 months of using this Genesis fan, my daughter said she was happy with it, but it wasn't very powerful. She figured out she'd forgotten there was a more powerful setting, so she's been using that setting since and likes it a little better. She likes how easy it is to clip to places and how nicely the clip stays in place.
The bottom line is, it's not a very powerful fan, but it's nice and light and clips to places nicely. It helps my daughter sleep better when she has the fan close by.
