Luminous Avenger iX 2 | Part 5: Arctic Block
So now to head even further, we need four more gate keys. This means taking down four more Workers.
We're making an exception here and heading first to the Arctic Block. The Arctic Block is where we will deal with ice, as in like any game. But with how we go about, we manage. Seriously, we do. At the end, we face off against the boss of the Arctic Block, Hail. Hail (VA: Jennifer Losi) was having a nap but we showed up and that interrupted things. She told us to keep it down but we got no choice but to fight.
Hail is an annoying sort as all her attacks will cause Copen to freeze. If you get frozen, you need to button press like mad to break out. So you can't just rush in. You have to be patient. She's weak to the Doomsday Charge but you may want to have to time your attack to deal damage, especially if you want to have it at max charge. When her health gets low, she'll use her special skill, Frigid Stasis (Stagnation World). She's invincible and will fire a curtain of ice bullets. Her Cryo-Flash will activate, slowing time and causing confusion. If you get hit, you're frozen and you're boned. I learned this the hard way in which Anthem kicked in and I took her down. This ended up giving me a C rating.
We get the EX Weapon Cryo-Flash and her Gate Key. Part 6 will have us heading to the Space Block.
