Ruvin's original work ‘Love Testament’ won first prize in the Release the Brief category of Guildhall Young Artists (GYA) composition competition, RELEASE 2024.
Ruvin, from Junior Guildhall, says: "What a privilege it is to be a finalist in RELEASE 2024, this competition has encouraged me to stretch my compositional boundaries and write music in a variety of styles and mediums which I found to be an invaluable experience. I am very grateful to the adjudicators for selecting my entries from amongst many other deserving compositions to be in the final, and have found this journey to be one of great excitement and exhilaration."
The category judge for Release the Brief was Publishing Manager at Warwick Music, Julie Fews.
