Zach's original work ‘Amethyst’ won third prize in the Release the Notes category of Guildhall Young Artists (GYA) composition competition, RELEASE 2024.

Zach, from Junior Guildhall, says: "As a jazz composer, being part of a composition that gives a platform to pieces of all genres and formats is really exciting and affirming. It's a massive honour to get my music performed and heard by such talented musicians!"

The category judge for Release the Notes was Master of the King’s Music (2014–2024) Dame Judith Weir.
