Rosie won third prize with composition ‘Girl that I Outgrew’, in the Songwriting category for Guildhall Young Artists competition 'RELEASE'.
Rosie, from Junior Guildhall says: "Girl that I Outgrew, is a bitter sweet song about a relationship coming to a close. It is about growing with someone and then apart from them; acknowledging the importance of the person but admitting that it has to come to an end. I take inspiration from singer-songwriters like Joni Mitchell and Carole King."
The category judge for Songwriting was Sasha Siem, Singer-Songwriter.
