A Long-billed Dowitcher (Limnodromus scolopaceus) pokes around in mud flats at Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge, in Chambers County, TX, USA. About halfway in the video, the bird also hops a short distance -- maybe out of fear -- and scratches a bit.

This particular bird has its spring / breeding plumage.
