Annapolis police arrested a woman overnight just hours after a fatal shooting. City police said an investigation into a suspect vehicle led to a person of interest. In consultation with prosecutors, police arrested Monet Thompson, 49, of Annapolis, who remains in custody. Thompson had an initial court appearance Friday morning, and is now held without bail as the investigation continues. The arrest stems from a shooting of a woman who was found dead in her car at a busy Annapolis shopping center, according to police. Follow live updates on 11 News, the WBAL-TV app and WBALTV.com
