Maryland Democratic U.S. Senate nominee Angela Alsobrooks improperly received tax breaks and pledges to repay any taxes that should have been collected, her campaign confirmed to 11 News on Monday. The campaign acknowledged Alsobrooks improperly claimed tax breaks she wasn't qualified to receive. Alsobrooks is pledging to return tax money she improperly received amid a CNN report that she received a Homestead tax credit on a Prince George's County property she rented and a senior citizen tax break on a Washington, D.C., home.
