New safety measures are in place for Homecoming week at Morgan State University after last year's mass shooting. Students at Morgan State University have seen hundreds of cameras around campus since last year's mass shooting. A spokesperson for Morgan State University told 11 News since last year's homecoming shooting, they've expanded their campus-wide security camera system and added license plate readers and weapon detection technology using artificial intelligence.
