There were calls Wednesday to change how Baltimore Gas and Electric charges its customers. Currently, a pilot program allows BGE to charge customers for the cost of projects without regulatory scrutiny. A coalition said it wants the Maryland Public Service Commission to stop the pilot program, saying it allows BGE to raise delivery rates without any checks, balances or transparency.
