Two members of Maryland's congressional delegation now say there's a new lifeline to get full federal funding approved to rebuild the Francis Scott Key Bridge more than six months after its collapse. Ben Cardin, D-Maryland, in September, he acknowledged that 100% federal funding to rebuild the Key Bridge would have to wait until Congress reconvened after November's election.
