This is the Captains Flat Rd (Hoskinstown Rd) level crossing at Bungendore, New South Wales. It is located on the Canberra Line and is actually the last crossing before reaching Canberra which is roughly 34 kilometers away.
This crossing was passive until these signals were installed some time around 1998. Both signals had unmarked bases and Alstom LED lights which were mounted on Henkes & Harmon brackets. The southern signal had a Western Cullen Hayes mechanical bell.
The crossing was upgraded on February 9, 2019 with these signals being removed and replaced by new gated signals.
Train information:
1st train: SP34 passenger service from Canberra to Sydney.
2nd train: SP33 passenger service from Sydney to Canberra.
