This is the Jacksons Creek Road level crossing at Ararat, it is located in western Victoria on the standard gauge line from Melbourne to Adelaide.
These signals were installed on April 10, 1975, both signals have McKenzie & Holland bases and Westinghouse LED lights. The eastern signal has a Safetran type 3 electronic bell while the western signal has an Artcraft healthy state indicator.
Train information:
1st train: 7901V freight from Appleton Dock to Merbein, with locomotives G527, BL26 and G540. Filmed on October 15, 2022.
2nd train: 6MA8 Overland service from Melbourne to Adelaide, with locomotive NR71. Filmed on September 27, 2024.
