This is the Lansdowne Road level crossing at Lansdowne, New South Wales. I first filmed the crossing back in 2017 and the video can be seen here youtube.com/watch?v=dipsfDbfsrQ
Following various other crossing upgrades, this is now the last operational Westinghouse teardrop bell in New South Wales, so I wanted to film it again. Most other crossings in the area have been upgraded so it's probably just a matter of time before new signals are installed here.
The train seen in the video is NT32 XPT service from Brisbane to Sydney. Due to Covid19 border restrictions in Queensland, the train commenced it's journey at Casino NSW.
Filmed on June 4, 2020.
