It's safe to that all the things that Lyrin has learned from Ondra about the present situation are far from great. We don't know exactly why Ondra felt she had to destroy huge parts of the world, though I can take a few guesses. We also don't know exactly what would happen if Abydon was told about all that Ondra did, but I doubt it'd be good. What we do know is that the Eyeless are intent on slaying everyone that knows about the White Forge... which is now a whole lot of people all across the Dyrwood.
Luckily,. Ondra decided to give us some advice on how we might stop the Eyeless. We are to take the shard of Abydon's hammer and reforge it so we can use the smithing implement in the destruction of the Eyeless. Doing that invovles going through Cayron's Scar which is teeming with Eyeless, fanatic servants of Ondra and... something else, something horrible.
We're going to need all the help we can get, so it's fortunate that we've made a lot of friends along the way willing to give us said help. Maybe we have a chance, even if it's a slim one.

Now that we finally have the local currency of Tarna, Derek is free to spend the rest of his time in the city buying everything that isnt nailed down. After all, if someone is willing to sell it to us then its bound to have a use at some point in the game. Even the more mundane things like fish and fruit can act as extra rations and while we dont need to track our thirst like we did in Shapeir, waterskins will serve their own awesome purpose in due time.
Having spendable money is als how were going to access our very first death and my, is it a silly one. All Ill say is that it involves the apothecarys store, our tinderbox and not knowing when enough is enough.
