The Temple of the Low Tide is the more wretched side of an already very fanatical group of Ondra worshippers. Locked away from the rest of the worshippers, they are 'rewarded' with the opportunity for peace and silence, but the truth is that the stillness slowly drives the people within mad. The only sad solace they have is that one day, the Tidecaller will come and summon the tide to wash away everyone in there, ending their lives.
We need the item used to call the tide, but it has another potential use. This will make the people in the upper part of the abbey incrediably angry with us, though that's not much different to the hostility they already posess upon seeing us skulking about. It will, however, free the poor people of the Low Tide to live what remains of their lives as they see fit at the minor cost of angering a goddess.
For Lyrin, there is no real choice here and I imagine you know what she's doing to, consequences be darned.

Now that we finally have the local currency of Tarna, Derek is free to spend the rest of his time in the city buying everything that isnt nailed down. After all, if someone is willing to sell it to us then its bound to have a use at some point in the game. Even the more mundane things like fish and fruit can act as extra rations and while we dont need to track our thirst like we did in Shapeir, waterskins will serve their own awesome purpose in due time.
Having spendable money is als how were going to access our very first death and my, is it a silly one. All Ill say is that it involves the apothecarys store, our tinderbox and not knowing when enough is enough.
