KULT News audited on Florida’s controversial Santa Rosa Beach this past summer. Battles over property lines even resulted in national news stories and KULT News being featured on the premier episode of Neighbors, on HBO.
Backstreet Boy, Brian Littrell, is among the beachfront home owners who have actually sued at least one person who, he claims, trespassed on “his” beach.

Laws may vary but, generally speaking, in the United States, if you are in public you are legally able to photograph whatever you can see. Simply put, your eyes can’t be trespassed. Obviously there are some restrictions on this (i.e., bathrooms, dressing rooms, most courtrooms, locker rooms, etc.) but very few when you are in public. If you can see it, you can shoot it (this rule only applies to cameras.) This is not legal advice.
