After 11 years, Kraftwerk has returned to Paris, France to play a concert at a building complex dedicated to music. An exposition of their robots took place simulataneously at the Musée de la Musique for nine months according to Ralf Hütter in a 2003 BBC interview, thus every show from this tour took place without robots. A special, quadrophonic sound system was used for the concert. The mixing was slightly off, but the bass got significantly heavier which is a major upgrade compared to last sound systems. Another downside of this sound system is the fragility of the speakers. This caused some problems during next concert.
The performance improved from the warmup gig in Gent, although it's still not flawless. Ralf was clumsy during his solo in Music Non Stop. Furthermore, he didn't pay attention to the order in which Pocket Calculator is now supposed to be played. The main calculator sequence got triggered instead of the arpeggio during the "En touchant ce bouton" part which is a result of the arrangement changing to a more static structure. The inflexibility here is why Henning and Florian couldn't simply intervene by switching off the wrong sequence and activating the correct one like they did in the 90s. The Robots worked this time from beginning to end unlike in Gent where it stopped abruptly.

As many tapes of the concert series in Paris 2002 have been recorded, it is certain that there is at least one high-quality source for each show. The sound is captured with high clarity and fidelity inside the tape. Unluckily, the snare is too strong, so, I cut it down a bit, and I strengthened the music at the lower end.
