As promised, here is the third part of the Submachine decalogy, The Loop. It seems like we got into a machine that spawns an infinite amount of rooms containing puzzles to solve. The intro text claims that there is nothing to collect which is a lie. In the first level, there is a compass that can be taken. It must be taken or otherwise the teleporter would stay disabled. Of course, it's possible to navigate the loop machine without the compass, but you have to be careful that you don't get lost. Maybe the creator of the game made it that way that you cannot jump over to second level without the compass, so that there is no risk of getting lost. In the last level there is a leaf in some room which is the second contradiction to the statement in the intro that there are not collectable items. This leaf is the way out of the loop machine. If the teleporter is unlocked and used in the last level, this will end up in death through dehydration.
Submachine 3 completely changes the gameplay experience. Its predecessors are a mix of 60% adventure and 40% puzzle solving. This game however is purely a puzzle game. There is no adventure aspect behind it. There is an epic electro-metal theme in the main menu and in the intro which is another contrast to any other Submachine game. Normally, a calm, dark, spooky track is used. Even the main track of Submachine 3 doesn't have the eerieness. It sounds rather pensive.
