...I've tried countless different types of wood experimenting with the fire plough & while Malayan cherry (Muntingia calabura) remains at the top of my list this Kare tree
(Sesbania grandiflora) is looking to become a close second.
.
...It also goes by the name vegetable humming bird tree, Agate or West Indian pea & its a fast growing tree usually grown for its edible flowers.
.
...There's still a bit of work to be done to test it at different stages of seasoning & how branches compare to the heart wood but early indications look promising.
