Hey everyone! Here is a a little Halloween treat for you, a Jack Skellington inspired striped scarf. It's super easy to make and you can use different colors and patterns to fit your liking. Hope you enjoy!

Items:
Red Heart Super Saver Yarn in Black & White (1 ball each)
Clover Bamboo Interchangeable 48" circular needles size 9 (5.5mm)
Crochet Hook
Size:
50" length
3 1/2" wide
Instructions: (moss stitch pattern)
With white yarn; cast on 250 sts
Row 1 & 2: *K1, P1; rep from * across.
With Black yarn;
Row 3 & 4: *P1, K1; rep from * across.
Repeat Rows 1 through 4 to form pattern. Changing colors every 2 rows.
Continue until you reach desired width. Bind off.
TIP: Use a crochet hook to help you bind off your stitches easier.
Tassels:
Cut 7 strands of 11" of yarn to make tassels of each color on either end of the scarf.

Hey everyone! Day 7 of our Knit-A-Thon we have a granny square with a wagon wheel in the middle. When I first saw this stitch I knew I had to show you guys. I really like this one and it was fun to make in honor of Nation Crochet Month. Whats your favorite granny square to make?

Boye Aluminum Crochet Hook size H/8 (5mm)
Caron Simply Soft Yarn in Orchid
Special Stitch:
CL (3-hdc Puff) [Yo and draw up a lp] 3 times in same sp, yo and draw through all 7 lps on hook.
Instructions:
Ch 5 and join with sl st in first ch to form ring.
Rnd 1 (RS) Ch 5 (counts as 1 tr and ch 1), [1 tr, ch 1] 11 times in ring. Join with sl st in 4th ch of beg ch-5 - 12 tr.
Rnd 2 [CL, Ch 1} twice in first ch-1 sp, *[CL, ch 1] twice in next ch-1 sp; rep from * around. Join with sl st to top of first puff st - 24 puff sts.
Rnd 3 Sl st in first ch-1 sp, ch 6 (counts as 1 tr and ch 2), 1 tr in same sp - first corner, *ch 1, 1 dc in next ch-1 sp, [ch 1, 1 hdc in next ch-1 sp] 3 times, ch 1, 1 dc in next ch-1 sp, ch 1**, (1 tr, ch 2, 1 tr) in next corner ch-1 sp; rep from * twice more, then from * to ** once. Join with sl st in 4th ch of beg ch-6. Fasten off.
