Happy Halloween! Check out this fantastic table runner. I wanted something for home decor for this Halloween. A table runner is perfect. Easy to customize for any table. Let me know what you think and send me photos if you try this out.

Items Used:
Boye crochet hook size J/10 (6mm)
Red Heart Super Saver yarn in Black and Pumpkin
Gauge:
3 sts = 1 inch in half double crochet
Finished Size:
10" wide; 38" long (without border)
Instructions:
Note: Since hdc starts in the third chain from hook, add to extra sts to your cast on
Ch 32
Foundation Row: YO, pull up loop in 3rd sts from hook, YO, pull through all remaining loops, *YO, pull up loop in next st, YO, pull through all remaining loops; rep from * across
Use scrap yarn or removable stitch marker to mark this as front of our work
Row 1: Ch 2, turn,
Row 2: *YO, pull up loop in next st, YO, pull through all remaining loops; rep from * across
Continue in hdc until piece measures 38" long.
Work a single row using black, continuing in hdc.
Insert in next st, sl st, continue hdc to last st, sl st; rep this row until you run out of stitches.

Hey everyone! Day 7 of our Knit-A-Thon we have a granny square with a wagon wheel in the middle. When I first saw this stitch I knew I had to show you guys. I really like this one and it was fun to make in honor of Nation Crochet Month. Whats your favorite granny square to make?

Boye Aluminum Crochet Hook size H/8 (5mm)
Caron Simply Soft Yarn in Orchid
Special Stitch:
CL (3-hdc Puff) [Yo and draw up a lp] 3 times in same sp, yo and draw through all 7 lps on hook.
Instructions:
Ch 5 and join with sl st in first ch to form ring.
Rnd 1 (RS) Ch 5 (counts as 1 tr and ch 1), [1 tr, ch 1] 11 times in ring. Join with sl st in 4th ch of beg ch-5 - 12 tr.
Rnd 2 [CL, Ch 1} twice in first ch-1 sp, *[CL, ch 1] twice in next ch-1 sp; rep from * around. Join with sl st to top of first puff st - 24 puff sts.
Rnd 3 Sl st in first ch-1 sp, ch 6 (counts as 1 tr and ch 2), 1 tr in same sp - first corner, *ch 1, 1 dc in next ch-1 sp, [ch 1, 1 hdc in next ch-1 sp] 3 times, ch 1, 1 dc in next ch-1 sp, ch 1**, (1 tr, ch 2, 1 tr) in next corner ch-1 sp; rep from * twice more, then from * to ** once. Join with sl st in 4th ch of beg ch-6. Fasten off.
