We were staying in Norfolk for Christmas and there was only one parkrun we wanted to go to... Great Yarmouth North Beach parkrun! I have freedom run the course before and so know how tough it is but there is nothing like running the course on an actual parkrunday.

Typically this is a very small parkrun, probably because you have to love a real challenge to want to run here regularly. In the past decade Christmas Day parkruns have grown in popularity and now they represent the best parkrun of the year! So much festive spirit and joyful energy. I hope that comes across in this video.

Having now run the UK's hardest parkruns of Whinlatter Forest parkrun, Woolacombe Dunes parkrun, Durlston Country Park parkrun and Great Yarmouth North Beach parkrun then for me they sit in the following order in terms of being the most challenging:
Durlston Country Park parkrun
Great Yarmouth North Beach parkrun
Woolacombe Dunes parkrun
Whinlatter Forest parkrun
