KULT News spent some quality time inspecting the back of a police car on Nov. 9, 2023 after we had another encounter with a cop who seems to care more about feelings than actual laws.
Officer Robinson with the Columbus Police Department seemed bored when he responded to a call of a journalist being assaulted but was eager to grab his handcuffs when that same journalist advised he would defend himself against aggressive bank employees.

Laws may vary but, generally speaking, in the United States, if you are in public you are legally able to photograph whatever you can see. Simply put, your eyes can’t be trespassed. Obviously there are some restrictions on this (i.e., bathrooms, dressing rooms, most courtrooms, locker rooms, etc.) but very few when you are in public. If you can see it, you can shoot it (this rule only applies to cameras.) This is not legal advice.
