KULT News paid a visit to Commerce City, CO on Jan. 4, 2024 and quickly encountered some local credit union employees who were in desperate need of an education on the First Amendment.
Would the responding cop agree with them and violate our rights or would they educate the people that summoned them?

Laws may vary but, generally speaking, in the United States, if you are in public you are legally able to photograph whatever you can see. Simply put, your eyes can’t be trespassed. Obviously there are some restrictions on this (i.e., bathrooms, dressing rooms, most courtrooms, locker rooms, etc.) but very few when you are in public. If you can see it, you can shoot it (this rule only applies to cameras.) This is not legal advice.
