We audited St. Petersburg, FL at the end of May (2025) and found some strange ducks in town (and that’s not even counting what we saw at the Salvador Dali Museum.)
As always, we had the cops called on us multiple times. Would local law enforcement behave professionally or would their fear of being “baited” cause them to avoid us like the plague?

Laws may vary but, generally speaking, in the United States, if you are in public you are legally able to photograph whatever you can see. Simply put, your eyes can’t be trespassed. Obviously there are some restrictions on this (i.e., bathrooms, dressing rooms, most courtrooms, locker rooms, etc.) but very few when you are in public. If you can see it, you can shoot it (this rule only applies to cameras.) This is not legal advice.
