KULT News paid a visit to the “Garlic Capital of the World” (aka Gilroy, CA) where we found an entire town that smelled like garlic and some local Mormons who smelled like ignorance of our First Amendment rights.
Naturally, the peculiar people with a polygamist past called the cops on us. Would the responding officer respect our rights or would he be just as ignorent as the Mormons that called for him?

Laws may vary but, generally speaking, in the United States, if you are in public you are legally able to photograph whatever you can see. Simply put, your eyes can’t be trespassed. Obviously there are some restrictions on this (i.e., bathrooms, dressing rooms, most courtrooms, locker rooms, etc.) but very few when you are in public. If you can see it, you can shoot it (this rule only applies to cameras.) This is not legal advice.
