I realize that I rolled my crippled self out of the point of focus before this video even started but I didn't discover this flaw in production until long after it was completed. SO DEAL WITH IT.
I can't always be clear as day.
Sometimes, while deep in the painkiller-induced coma I've become familiar with, certain thoughts will enter my brain that I otherwise wouldn't recognize as upsetting. It's a strange mental state that makes one think hard about phrases that people use without thinking at all. When I wake up (if I remember these thoughts...or anything, for that matter), I can flesh them out fully and, if I'm lucky, my hatred for everyday things is amusing enough that it becomes entertaining for more than just myself.
There are many phrases like these; cliches and colloquialisms which confuse me because they make little to no sense in their context. I read an article once about how the term "blood is thicker than water," instead of being about the value of family, was about the glory gained in murdering people with a bunch of your friends. Perhaps some of the examples I gave have been misconstrued by time. Oh well.
That thing about irregular periods is a true story based on a conversation I had. The person I was talking to thought it was a great analogy. So did I.
