Indiana Jones and the Great Circle on Nintendo Switch 2 targets 1080p docked using DLSS to maintain that resolution, but the real story is what the image quality actually looks like under the surface. Using a custom frame rate and resolution analysis tool, this video tests performance and perceived image sharpness across the first three playable areas of the game, Vatican City, Gizeh and the Himalayas including the ship section.
The tool measures real framerate by detecting duplicate frames to calculate the true FPS separate from the container rate, alongside per frame frametime data that reveals stuttering and inconsistencies that average FPS figures would otherwise hide. The resolution graph tracks the capture resolution, native render resolution and a rolling Detail line, which measures perceptual sharpness frame by frame using multiple image analysis methods. Despite Indiana Jones and the Great Circle maxing out at 1080p output on Switch 2, the Detail line regularly shows the perceived image quality sitting noticeably above that, demonstrating how effectively DLSS reconstructs detail beyond what the native render resolution would suggest.
Each of the three areas presents very different performance demands, from the dense interior spaces of Vatican City to the expansive outdoor environments of Gizeh and the varied settings of the Himalayas, making this a thorough and reliable indicator of how the game performs across the full range of its early environments.
