Free Timber made this rustic table base very cheap to make. I like the tough chunky barn-style wooden furniture as it has a real rustic look, like it’s been around for a hundred years.

Making this project out of bits of rejected wood and giving the wood a new life as a table gave me quite a buzz, and I am very happy with the finished table. I will now see what timber I can find to make the top. I am hoping to use reclaimed timber or barn wood, something with a really old, damaged look to it, so it matches nicely with the rustic table style.
