Hunter Low Profile 42" ceiling fan in antique brass. This is another fan that I found in the trash during Cleanup Week 2025. Or at least, parts of it are. I'd found another of these a year or two back, but it wasn't entirely in the best condition, so it was always on the bottom of the priority list to get around to. This year I found one with the larger motor, which also wasn't in 100% prime shape, so I combined the best parts and the best motor into one generally presentable fan. Overall it came out decent, performs and runs well, though I'm not sure I've ever seen this specific motor run and don't love the speed range produced here. Wasn't sure if it was typical, perhaps someone can confirm. Both units had been installed with light kits, the other was already missing when I found it, but this one had a generic 5-light kit. I find those oversized for a fan of this scale, so I swapped with a more suitable single fitter. I like Low Profiles in general and think they're pretty great in terms of hugger fans, but they just aren't really my thing and I haven't collected or kept a great many of them. This variant is among my favorites if I had to choose one, so it's probably one to stick around for a bit.
