Classic Fan 52" Original copy in antique brass, with the knockoff Reversair blade arms. Little preview, in that this fan will be going up on display. Before doing that, I wanted to add the third speed because it's otherwise just not functional. Upon getting it all installed, it's clear that this one is needing a full clean out and service at some point. Operation is getting a bit stiff, so I assume it's somewhat gummed up. My display fans don't see a lot of regular operation, so I'm not concerned about it for that purpose in the moment. Once I can service it, I'll probably adjust the cap value for the low speed again. I'd like a bit slower, and assuredly it will run even faster than this once the fan runs smoother. I just didn't have any more capacitor values on hand to further adjust now, and didn't want to purchase anything when it would need to be changed again later. There is an unresolved wobble on low speed, I think there's an imbalance in the rotor that causes it in that RPM range, because I got it pretty well-balanced in all other ranges. This one has never been in absolute prime physical condition, but it's for sure presentable. Ridiculously powerful, hard to argue agains the endurance of the Hunter Original, but I think Classic Fan outdid them on this one.
