In today's video I'll show you an easy way to make Demerara Simple Syrup.
I sub it often for simple syrup in cocktails. It's used in Tiki cocktails all of the time. And, It can elevate your cocktail with flavor.
I wanted to give you a short tutorial so you can make it for yourself.
*Now, you can double this or half this recipe depending on how much you think you will go through in a few weeks time. But I use these ratios the most.
*Also, I do use Baker's sugar in today's recipe. It is an exact sub for granulated. There's not guesswork as far as weight or cups go. But use granulated if you don't want to go with Baker's sugar.

Demerara Simple Syrup
1 C. Water
1/2 C Demerara Sugar
1 1/2 C Granulated or Baker's Sugar
