As winter turns into spring, I look for refreshing cocktails that I can have while sitting outside on the back patio watching my yard come back to life. Cocktails that I can offer friends that are fun but easy for me to make. Today's cocktail is that to a T! It's your must have Spring cocktail. So refreshing and If you have the ingredients, it's easy to make. The Ginger Sling is a riff on the Singapore Sling while still having lots of character. Let's riff it up.

PS. I drink the Ginger Sling cocktail during the winter months as well. There's no bad time to try it!
The "Ginger Sling" | Cocktail Ingredients
1 1/2 oz. (45 ml) Gin: Hayman's Old Tom
*A london dry would also be great.
3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) Fresh Lemon Juice
1/2 oz. (15 ml) Maraschino Liqueur
1/4 oz. (7.5 ml) Benedictine DOM
1 Bar Spoon Demerara Simple Syrup
Ginger Beer to Top
Garnish with a Dehydrated Pineapple Wheel, candied ginger
and some mint!
