The box stitch (also sometimes called double moss stitch) is an attractive & reversible texture where you have little raised boxes all over that are 2 stitches by 2 stitches. Basically, it's seed stitch but with a 2x2 rather than a 1x1 raised texture.
The pattern is easy to knit, even for beginners, as it involves only knits and purls.
