Rokolee DIY | DIY Mondrian Door Curtain | How to Sew a Bojagi Patchwork Hanging for Your Home @RokoleeDIY | Uploaded April 2023 | Updated October 2024, 12 hours ago.
This sewing tutorial will demonstrate exactly how you can make your own patchwork door curtain from organza - which gives a lovely stained glass effect when light shines through!
The design is inspired by Piet Mondrian, and the reversible seams are flat felled seams, since these allow the raw edges to be completely enclosed.
The sewing techniques are actually pretty simple in this project, it's just the floaty organza fabric that can cause a bit of an issue. If you'd like to make it super easy, feel free to change the fabric to a lightweight cotton or similar instead :)
I hope you enjoy this DIY!
