Do your roots look lifted when wet but go flat while you’re diffusing? 🙋🏻♀️

If your crown loses volume during drying, it’s usually diffuser placement — not your products.
A few things I check right away:
• hovering the diffuser around the lengths but not engaging the roots
• using a diffuser without prongs long enough to reach the scalp
• diffusing the roots while they’re still soaking wet
• pressing the prongs too far sideways and stretching instead of lifting
For real root lift, the prongs need to reach into the crown until you feel your scalp, then press upward and hold while the roots are damp and starting to set. You can also tilt side to side to lift from multiple angles for more even volume across the top.
This is one of the most common adjustments I make with clients whose volume disappears by the end of wash day.
