On the bench today is a 1:64 scale Hot Wheels Kool Kombi. I’m using a cartoon from a very talented artist who goes by Johnny Jalopy as my inspiration pic. The cartoon in turn was taken on as a real life project by Ian Roussel at Full Custom Garage on YouTube. I’m not sure if I’m the first one to tackle it in 1:64 scale, but I’m taking my best shot at it.

FYI: All of the Maple Leaf Customs finished projects that are kid-friendly are put in custom blister packs and go to my local Goodwill store where they are given to children for free. If there are parts that can be swallowed, those cars are given as gifts to adult collectors that are fellow enthusiasts.
