On the bench today is a 1:64 scale Hot Wheels Custom Volkswagen Beetle. I got this in a mail call from friend of the channel Aaron B. This will be my base casting for the first in the latest annual Summer Road Trip series, kicking it off this year with my fellow Horseman Tom, from Spork Syndicate. We decided together on the theme of Flying Cars. There’s a lot of trash bashing going on in this one!

FYI: All of the Maple Leaf Customs finished projects that are kid-friendly are put in custom blister packs and go to my local Goodwill store where they are given to children for free. If there are parts that can be swallowed, those cars are given as gifts to adult collectors that are fellow enthusiasts.
