Helping Others – Our Favorite Part of Farming
Homesteading and farming aren’t just about animals, gardens, or food preservation — they’re also about community, family, and helping others. In today’s video, we’re loading up 2 ½ cords of firewood in our dump trailer to help Saundra’s nephew, a single dad raising three kids ages 4–10, stay warm through the winter. Watching that wood head to their home and knowing it will keep them comfortable is truly one of the best parts of what we do here.
But the day doesn’t end outside — Saundra also spends time in the kitchen making two homemade staples:

🍖 Homemade BBQ sauce (the kind that makes you want to put it on everything!)
