It’s a busy day on the farm, but today’s video takes a turn that feels a little different than our usual routine.
We start the morning with a quick breakfast before Saundra heads out to pick up our latest batch of chicks and supplies. While she’s on the road, Chuck is back at the brooder getting everything sterilized and ready for the new arrivals. Once the chicks are settled, we tackle the rest of the farm work—pig chores, moving the broiler tractor to fresh pasture, and adding some permanent fruit to the landscape by planting two new fig trees and a blueberry bush.
But after the work is done, we sat down for a conversation that’s been on our minds.
