I make some heavy-duty, industrial-style wall-mount Coat Hooks, using large steel rebar rod, which gives it the real industrial decor look I like. It was a good welding project for me. I enjoyed it.

The big steel flat bar is 6mm (1/4 inch) thick, and 75mm (3 inches) wide.
The Rebar is about 25mm rebar.

The main tools used were welding Magnets, an MIG Welder, an Angle Grinder, vise, and a Drill.

Always use the correct safety gear and learn to use your tools safely; I am not the best role model for this.
