A very easy DIY Project, making a kids' party game. I can remember playing the kerplunk game, and I thought it was a fun game when I was a kid.
I decided to make a Giant Kerplunk Game for the birthday party. I was thinking it could be played by both adults and children, and if that failed, there were lots of balls in the game to play other ball games, etc.

Always use all the correct safety gear, and use your tools safely. I am not a good role model for this.
