Deadly Drop Bear or Koala? you can't tell until they attack you. Now, if you stop this video at (0.18 to 0:19) you get a very brief view of the bulging muscles in his left arm. What is this? is he on steroids? This Koala is built like a bodybuilder. If he did not have fur, that would be one very impressive body. A little different from the sweet, cuddly Koalas I have held and fed them leaves. This one is a quick mover, too; he only seemed to move because we were watching him. Element of Surprise Attack gone? or just a move to a tree with tastier leaves. That's why Drop bears have all the advantages, and tourists walk right up to them and stand under them taking photos, then, BANG, another missing tourist. When they find the tourist's gear, there are photos of cute Koalas on their camera and not a tourist to be found. I filmed this from our campsite while camping in NSW. Outback Australian Wildlife, that's where the adventure is.
