Driver Crashes Infiniti; Waits 2 Months For This Car Rescue. Normally when these cars crash off the mountainside, we are called right away. Not sure the reasoning for this one, but the car sat here for 2 full months before we got the call from CHP. It's always my understanding that they pose a fire hazard, so the sooner we get it the better.
Alex was out doing a tow in Hulk, so I had to take Big Flipper when this came in. You never know how far down these will be until you get there, and man was I relieved when I saw how close to the top it was. With just a short hike through brush and weeds, I was at the car and ready to rig. I was able to upright it first, which made winching it back up the hill much easier. Once towards the top, I used my BA car slings to do a full lift and swing.
Service sucks in this area, so while I waited for base to get a hold of Vicente in the flatbed, I decided to drive with the car suspended to the turnout point so I'm out of the lane. At that exact moment, Vicente showed up. While not necessary at this point, I think it looked cool lol.
